  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard


If you have the foresight or time, marinating the fish with the maple-mustard topping overnight adds even more great flavour.

You can also try topping the fish with 1/3 cup of panko (japanese style) breadcrumbs before baking for a satisfying crunchy texture.


1. preheat oven to 400F
Combine maple syrup and mustard, spread evenly over salmon
3. Bake for 15 mins, cool slightly and serve
