Quinoa Patties with Goat Cheese and Sriracha

  • 2 Cups cooked quinoa
  • 1 cup spinach (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup parsley or cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 Cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 egg + 2 egg whites (whisked)
  • 3/4 cups bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 Cup goat cheese (crumbled)
  • 1/4 Cup sriracha
  • 1/2 lime (juiced)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)


These quinoa patties are great as snack topped with yogurt, for lunch on a salad with some extra crumbled goat cheese, or for breakfast with a poached egg. Feel free to substitute feta, crumbled cheddar, or grated parm for the goat cheese. Or if cheese isn't your thing (which is just crazy!) then leave it out all together.


1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
2. Heat a non stick skillet over medium to medium-high heat and spray with non stick cooking spray.
3. Shape quinoa mixture into patties and pan fry for about 5 minutes on the first side and 2-3 minutes on the second side.
