Ingredients
Coconut Choco-PB Smoothie
- 1 frozen banana
- 1.5 cups chocolate coconut beverage
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
Sweet and Tart Berry and Yogurt Smoothie
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup fresh or frozen berries (I used fresh strawberries and raspberries)
- 1/2 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
Blueberry Crisp Smoothie
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut beverage
- 1 tablespoon roasted almond butter
Note
Any non-dairy beverage would make a good substitute for the coconut beverage.
Directions
1. | Combine ingredients for each smoothie in a vessel wide enough to accommodate an immersion blender, or use a countertop blender. Blend ingredients, adding more liquid and/or fruit if desired consistency not immediately reached. |
2. | May be served immediate or covered and kept refrigerated overnight. |
