Popcorn – the perfect movie-watching-baseball-enjoying snack. I think my husband could live on popcorn alone. And it seems I have also become somewhat of a popcorn addict.
At 33 weeks pregnant, I seem to be having a pregnancy “craving” of sorts. Or, just an excuse to eat this crunchy addictive snack every night of the week. And what better way to satisfy this so-called “craving” than with the sweet and salty combo of peanut butter, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon.
But being a whole grain packed with fiber, popcorn is an excellent choice for an afternoon or evening snack. And you can also feel good about pouring on some liquid peanut butter, adding some healthy fats and protein to your nighttime bowl of popped kernels.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I must go have my nightly bed-time snack.
