I don’t think it should come as a surprise to anyone that our first recipe post of 2018 is pizza.
What better way to ring in the new year than with a delicious and satisfying comfort food favourite. In fact, let’s make ‘delicious and satisfying’ our theme for the year, shall we?
This Spinach and Artichoke Dip Pizza was tested with both store bought pizza dough (Dara) and with pre-made crusts (Erin) and cross our hearts, the topping would be delicious on any style of pizza delivery system – naan, flatbread, homemade dough – you choose your poison.
The main thing is, you need to get it in your mouths as quickly. as. possible. This combination has skyrocketed to the top of our ‘favourite homemade pizza’ list. And yes, that’s a list.
As always, we love to share how our recipe can be served as a family meal. You know there’s no short order cooking in our homes!
While pizza is a crowd pleaser, introducing a brand new variety with unfamiliar ingredients may overwhelm your mini humans. Be considerate without catering and offer up the same meal, but in a way they are comfortable or familiar with. For us, offering a half-cheese option ensures the whole family is eating the same thing, while also being mindful that our more selective eaters have something on offer that will fill their bellies. Win-win, right?
You’re planning your next pizza night aren’t you?
Knew it.
